Generated several million dollars of savings through disciplined supply chain initiatives including; asset analysis, expense management, freight payment and audit, transportation optimization, carrier bids, network design & rationalization and third party warehousing & transportation outsourcing.

Petroleum
Identified multi-million dollar savings through monetizing private fleet assets, carrier consolidation, carrier contract restructuring and process re-engineering.

Food Manufacturing & Distribution
Conducted Time and Motion Engineering study resulting in the development of best practices for over 7500 route delivery drivers. Developed and implemented Operational Excellence Program which identified several hundred thousand dollars in annual cost reduction opportunities through renegotiating agreements with major providers including refrigerated storage, parts, power and waste disposal.

Service Industry
Conducted comprehensive fleet maintenance and operations review for a fleet of over 500 delivery vehicles and 12 interplant shuttles. Identified $500k in annual cost savings, predominantly in the areas of fuel procurement, vehicle performance and operational standards. Assessed and restructured agreements with multiple fuel providers. Piloted on-site mobile fueling program.

Third Party Logistics
Provided customized business development and client retention programs for client’s national sales force. Served as advisor and subject matter expert to SVP Sales and Marketing on consultative sales training, target marketing initiatives, regional marketing events and internal communications within the sales and marketing organization.

Tier One Automotive Supplier
Generated $550k in savings through structuring an aggressive third party logistics proposal for supply chain services to an automotive supplier. The scope of services encompassed operations in both North America and Europe and included a network transportation bid, transportation management and freight payment solutions.
